Apple Pori (Apple fritters)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Apples, Sliced big
  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour/Maida
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Baking soda
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder optional
  • Water-as required
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix everything except apples and oil to make a thick batter.
    2) Heat oil in a frying pan.
    3) Meanwhile peel and slice the apples. 
    4) Dip the apple slices in the batter and fry them until golden brown.
    5) Enjoy them with a cup of hot tea/coffee.

Notes

Use the sweeter variety of apples. Do not slice them too thin.
