Ingredients

  • 1 cup Powdered Almonds
  • 1 cup Coconut flour
  • 1 cup Raw sugar
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Slow roast the powdered almonds and coconut flour until you get a nutty aroma.
  • Take the sugar in a pan. Add 2 tablespoons of water and bring it to boil.
  • Mix in the roasted almond and coconut flour.
  • Continue to stir until it all starts to come together.
  • Add the cardamom powder and generous pinch of salt
  • Take it off the stove and dump them into a plate.
  • When they are cool enough to handle, knead it well and make lemon sized balls.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can make them with whole almonds. Roast them first and then powder them.
  • If you want to add some cashews or raisins, feel free to do so.
  • You can replace the raw sugar with brown or white sugar or even palm sugar/jaggery.
  • Instead of coconut flour, you can also use freshly grated or dried coconut.
  • When you take the dough off the stove, don't let it cool too much before shaping the balls. If you do, the balls will crack.
